An Education / Sensitisation Officer

(Bis Lamer, Eco-Schools, Young Reporters for the Environment, PAREO, MQA Training)

Key responsabilities:

• Assist the team leader and programme/project leaders in the different education and training projects
• Conduct various surveys and collect data under the different projects
• Input data into data bases
• Write up field reports for monitoring activities, progress reports and final reports for funders
• Facilitate and co-ordinate the communication process with different stakeholders
• Help identify, propose, and plan upgrades to existing project tools and training  
• Help prepare, co-ordinate and deliver sensitisation, education, and training sessions to varied audiences
• Help with the development of training modules under the courses developed by Reef Conservation
• Help supervise interns and volunteers

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of working experience in the field of Education
• Diploma/BSC in sciences and/or education would be an advantage
• Use Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams to carry out duties
• Use Zoom Meeting to schedule meetings and virtual sensitization sessions
• Flexible working hours, may required to work on weekends
• Previous internship/volunteering in other NGOs would be a plus
• Driving License (manual preferred)
